Hello, my name is Lashonda Holton-Smith, I have been decorating all my life starting as a little girl. My desire to decorate started when I was 10 yrs old, as I watched my mother transform things all around our house I believed it triggered something in my heart. My dream was to one day become an Interior Designer, but having children at a young age put those dreams on hold. Instead, I did what I had to in the meantime to take care of my family.

 

I went to Cosmetology School and became A licensed Hair Stylist, which allowed me to do just that, take care of my family.  I was inspired by my daughter's baby shower which was the first event I ever created. Doing the event gave me the same feeling I had when I was a little girl. so I then knew it was time to pursue something I had such a strong passion to do, which was my dream of design.  I then decided to start up my very own Event Planning business calling it Unique Elegance.  

 

I have created a lot of beautiful memories for a lot of people since pursuing my business and I desire to do the same in the future. Launching Unique Elegance was my dream come true, and I can't wait to make your dreams come true for you through what my heart truly desires to do!
